This is a PC that was originally built by Village Tech out of spare/extra/used components that we had accumulated around the shop. The power supply and main hard drive storage are new, everything else came from the spare parts pile. However this machine has been fully tested and is running like a champ.
We are taking nominations for a person, student, or local non-profit that would benefit from having a computer but is unable to purchase one for themselves. Please send us an e-mail telling us about your nominee and how this computer could help them. We would very much like for this PC to go to a good home. PLEASE ONLY SEND A MESSAGE IF YOUR NOMINEE WILL USE THE COMPUTER, DO NOT TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY AWAY FROM SOMEONE ELSE IF THE PLAN WOULD BE TO RESELL THE UNIT.
We will be taking nominations via e-mail through June 10th. A panel of judges will evaluate the nominations (mostly by how many heart strings are pulled) and decide on a winner. By submitting a message, you are agreeing to have your message potentially shared (identifiable details will be omitted).
